Aslı Filiz
Aslı Filiz is an Istanbul-based producer. Born in İzmir in 1982, she studied Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University and earned her master’s degree in Serial Storytelling at the Internationale Filmschule Köln. She is an alumna of EAVE (2016) and the Berlinale Talent Campus (2009). In 2022, she was selected as an international producer for Cannes MIPTV’s “Producers to Watch” catalogue. Aslı has executive produced numerous internationally acclaimed films, including Zephyr (Tokyo FF Competition, Toronto FF), Future Lasts Forever (Rotterdam FF, Toronto FF), Voice of My Father (Rotterdam FF), Mix Tape, The Gulf (Venice FF), and Crossing (Berlinale Panorama FF). She has also produced original content for streaming platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and BluTV/HBOMax.
Hüseyin Karabey
Born in Istanbul in 1970, he graduated from Pertevniyal High School and then from the Cinema and Television Department of Marmara University's Faculty of Fine Arts. Karabey has directed 5 feature films, 7 documentaries, and 3 short films. His first feature film, My Marlon and Brando, was screened at 36 international festivals and won the Best Director award at the 6th New York Tribeca Film Festival. His second film, Come to My Voice, had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival and returned with Best Film and Audience Awards from festivals such as Istanbul, Milan, and Mar del Plata. In 2025, after a 13-year filming and editing process, The Man from the North, which tells the story of Kadir İnanır's life, was released. The director has recently completed filming his latest film, Hakikatin Ölümü (The Death of Truth)The Death of Truth.
Vasileios Terzopoulos
Vasileios Terzopoulos is a member of the organizing team of Drama International Short Film Festival since 2005, being currently the Head Programmer of International Competition, as well as coordinator and host of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and campaign copywriter. He is a Greek Program Associate of Thessaloniki Film and Documentary Festivals since 2010 and a member of the Hellenic Film Academy. He holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations from University of Macedonia – Thessaloniki, Master degrees from the London School of Economics and the Hellenic Open University. He is an awarded published author of six children’s books, having also published short stories for adults in literary magazines and websites in Greece.
