SYNOPSIS
In 1960, on the island of Chios two friends, who parted ways due to an unfortunate incident just before the schools closed, meet again in the middle of summer and have an unforgettable holiday together. A heartwarming film that combines humor and sorrow, celebrating innocence and childhood in a heartfelt tribute.








Dimos (Aristodemos) Avdeliodes (1952)
Director, screenwriter, actor and producer. He was born in Chios island. He studied at University of Athens, in the Faculty of Philosophy and took acting classes at the drama school of George Theodosiadis. He has directed many movies and theater plays. He has also given cinema classes at Panteion University’s Department of Communication and Media. He directed his first short film “Unfair Competition” in 1983. He has received awards in Berlin and Thessaloniki with his first feature film “The Tree We Hurt”. “The Spring Gathering” (2000), which he has directed, received four awards in Berlin and was selected Best Movie in Thessaloniki.
