Waiting for the Clouds invites us to witness the story of a woman who has had to live with the burden of secrets she has carried on her shoulders for 50 years. In the mist-shrouded highlands of the Black Sea, we are invited to witness her quest to unlock the doors to her dark and secret-filled past, her never-ending search, and her moral reckoning.<\/p>

What kind of wounds can questions about a person's past inflict? What pain, what secrets, unknown to anyone, does Ay\u015fe's sheltered, loving, and silent world of 50 years, lived in the shadow of her sister Selma, conceal? How do the mysterious stories of Ay\u015fe's inner world, embellished with fairy tales, affect little Mehmet's dream-filled childhood world in the magical mountains of the Black Sea? While Mehmet drifts between dream and reality through the fairy tales Ay\u015fe tells him, and shares this world with his friend Cengiz, who is wounded inside and left homeless by his father's suspicious death, what traces of the past is the mysterious stranger, who has come from Soviet Russia and is staying in this small Black Sea town, \u2013 and whom they suspect to be a Russian agent \u2013 following? How will Mehmet unwittingly unlock the door to Ay\u015fe's secret-filled silence?<\/span><\/p>
