In this film, Tsemberopoulos deals with the small “insignificant” dramas that are played out every day in contemporary Athenian apartment buildings that never hit the front pages of the dailies or the evening news. Christos, who is 22, wants to hit the big time, become famous, and make money. But it is Michalis, Marina's husband and Fanny's father, who has the money. Marina is a woman who sacrifices herself for her husband and kids. Fanny, 18, a would-be swimming champ, is already in love with him. Then there is Roula, his hot-blooded girlfriend who loves him.The protagonist in Tsemberopoulos' film is our next door neighbour, the lady in the apartment building across the street, the kid who rented the semi-basement studio.
