The story of the meeting of two women in their forties from noon of May 20th, 1964 to the next morning.

Filio and Dimitra. One is the former wife of Andreas Kallimanopoutos, a resistance hero who was executed without trial in December 1944; the other is his sister. Filio knows many things about this man, with whom she fell in love with as as an adolescent and married at the age of 19, and who she left shortly before his death, taking with her his secrets and their yet unborn son to the United States. Dimitra is a member of the Communist Party, a defender of justice (first and foremost for herself and her family) and a loquacious. She is trying to honour the memory of her beloved brother at any cost.

The two women who lived through the same historical and personal events—the German occupation, the civil war, the strife, persecution, loss, sacrifice, love, mourning—but who describe them differently, now come together years later in a neoclassical Athens apartment. In a few square meters, Filio will break her 20-year silence, and Dimitra will be forced to learn.
