SYNOPSIS

The film, which takes us on a journey to the Fournoi Islands in the northeastern part of Greece, introduces us to the local community with a rich maritime history and a deep-rooted culture. On this island, where gender roles differ from traditional norms, men venture out to distant seas to sustain their livelihoods. Women not only manage household chores and raise children but also work in various fields such as construction and agriculture, thereby controlling the island's economy.
