END OF AN ERA

Autumn 1969. Christos, a high-school senior, comes to Athens with his family from the country. From the very first day of the new term, he attracts the attention of Giorgos the leader of a group of students – a kid who imitates James Bond, a music lover who runs a pirate radio station, two female students from the neighbouring girls' high school. The film, which is basically a coming-of-age narrative, tells the story of the friendship of the two boys until the summer of ’70, while portraying the period of the military dictatorship in the background.
